The equine spectacular organised in celebration of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee has completely sold out
Tickets for All The Queen’s Horses – an equestrian spectacularcelebrating the Queen’s Golden Jubilee at this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show (16-18 May) – have sold out.
The theatrical performance, which will feature 1,000 horses and 2,000 performers, will use film, music and fashion to transport the audience through the decades of the Queen’s reign.
A number of top actors, including Judi Dench, who received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Queen Victoria in the film Mrs Brown, Robert Hardy, Prunella Scales and Edward Woodward will be providing voice-overs to bring to life the performance’s 12 acts.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle, the event promises to be “more Broadway than horse show”.
Although tickets have sold out, a handful of private viewing boxes and corporate hospitality packages are still available. Individuals without tickets can watch the event on BBC 1 on Sunday, 2 June.
