Britain’s top dressage auction is looking for a new sponsor for 2002

The successful annual dressage challenge and auction, organised by Brightwells Auctioneers, is looking for a new sponsor.

Equilibra has sponsored the showcase of top young dressage horses for the past six years. The event has become an annual pilgrimage for dressage enthusiasts since its introduction in 1996.

“The Dressage Challenge and Auction is the fastest growing international event of its kind, thanks to the support of dressage riders, breeders and buyers throughout Europe, and Equilibra,” says Richard Botterill of Brightwells.

“We are looking for a new sponsor for this unique event which has put Britain on the international map for marketing and promoting top quality young horses.”

This year’s dressage challenge and auction is taking place at Addington Manor EC, Bucks on Friday 16 August as part of Brightwells Summer Gala Auction, which also includes the Best British Foal 2002 Championships.

Thoroughbred sales join forces

Entries for Brightwells’ Malvern and Ascot bloodstock sales are being combined and all horses will now be sold at Ascot on Wednesday, 5 June. Entries are open until 15 May.
