Small tour action from Aachen

  • Karin Rehbein claims prix st georges and intermediaire I classes at Aachen’s CDIO

Karin Rehbein, wife of the late dressage master Herbert Rehbein, took control of the small tour classes in Aachen.

Karin impressed the judges in both classes with the elegant bay mare Cherie.

Cherie, a seven year old by Don Primero and a grand daughter of her international team medal horse Donnerhall, was the champion at the World Breeding championships last year in Verden.

German-based American rider Lisa Wilcox took second place in the psg and third in the intermediaire I with the Vorwerk stud’s eight-year-old stallion Royal Diamond.

The attractive steel grey is a full-brother to her grand prix ride and top breeding stallion Rohdiamant.
