Leading WHP put down

    • Anna Coutts Donald’s champion working hunter pony, Grand Slam, has been put down at the age of 11 after suffering from degenerative bone disease.

    Grand Slam qualified on numerous occasions for HOYS and the Royal International and was on the winning English working hunter pony team at Royal Dublin in 1998.

    He also gained a Horse & Hound achievement award in 1999 after winning the WHP championship at Kent County.

    “Jeremy was such an amazing little horse and the nicest person you could meet. He deserved everything he won, as he always tried so hard,” said Priscilla Coutts Donald.
