Show jumping entrepreneur and international owner Trevor Banks has died aftera short illness at the age of 73. Trevor was a dedicated BSJA member and judge and served on many of the sport’s committees.
He owned several top horses, including Goodwill, who went on to event with the Princess Royal, Olympic show jumper Hideaway and Anglezarke, winner of World and European medals with Malcolm Pyrah.
The funeral will take place tomorrow (Friday), at St Mary’s Church, Beverley, North Humberside, at 11am.
Close friend, former Formula 1 racing driver Jackie Steward is expected to pay a special tribute at Mr Banks’ funeral.
