Christmas countdown: 2 days to go!

  • Teddy makes it a hat-trick

At Chatsworth in May, Blyth Tait’s 14-year-old gelding Ready Teddy attacked Mike Etherington Smith’s big, bold course to clock up three runs and three wins in the season to date.

Ready Teddy’s flamboyant clear in the show jumping following a speedy cross-country run, demonstrated his love of the sport which earned him Olympic, World and Burghley glory.

After his win, Blyth said: “I was in too much of a hurry to enjoy it, especially with all the others going so well, but you can ride with so much confidence when you know a horse is so capable.”
