Jockey Club in High Court?

  • Graham Bradley, the former top jockey, is threatening to take the Jockey Club to the High Court after failing to have his eight-year ban for various corruption charges quashed at an appeal on Tuesday.

He succeeded in having his suspension reduced to five years. But this means he cannot go racing or deal with racehorses, so preventing him from continuing with a highly successful career as a bloodstock agent.

Bradley has 28 days in which to make a further appeal to the High Court and his solicitor Andrew Chalk said: “He is extremely disappointed.”

Forty-two-year-old Bradley has indicated for some time now that he will take the Jockey Club to the European Courts if he fails to clear his name in the High Court.
