Equine dental technicians (EDTs) can now choose from a second government-approved qualification in addition to the existing British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) exams.
DEFRA recently accepted the course and exams offered by the World Wide Association of Equine Dentistry (WWAED).
The WWAED’s qualification involves a two-day course followed by practical and written exams, the first of which takes place this autumn. BEVA’s one- and two-day courses take place several times a year.
