Farewell to… hunting stalwart Ann Reid Scott


  • One of Leicestershire’s most popular hunting personalities, Ann Reid Scott, of Scalford, Melton Mowbray, died on 22 September, aged 89.

    She had hunted with the Belvoir since childhood and served as joint-master from 1972-78.

    She was a former president of the Belvoir supporters’ club and had served as district commissioner of the Belvoir Hunt branch of the Pony Club.

    A private cremation service took place on 1 October.
