Mark Todd is reportedly selling three of his horses, including NZB Campino, who helped New Zealand to team bronze at the Olympics.
The pair finished 12th overall.
NZB Grass Valley (pictured) and NZB Regent Lad are also reported to be on the market, to fund renovations at Toddy’s new yard, Badgerstown, near Swindon, Wiltshire.
Their sale will “help pay the bills”, according to a blog on the website for Keyflow, one of Toddy’s sponsors.
The legendary horseman is currently on a tour of New Zealand with the rest of the eventing team and could not be reached for comment. They are due to take part in an official medal parade in Christchurch later this week.
Grass Valley took Toddy to his first World Equestrian Games in 10 years in Kentucky in 2010, finishing 11th. Regent Lad has not competed this season.
