Totilas withdrawn from CHIO Aachen

  • German super horse Totilas will not be competing in the CHIO in Aachen this weekend (5-8 July).

The record-breaking black stallion by Gribaldi has been withdrawn as his German rider Matthias Rath, has glandular fever.

Matthias and Totilas were set to represent Germany on the Nations Cup team, which doubles as an official Olympic selection trials.

The German national equestrian federation will likely alter its requirements to allow the combination to compete in London if Matthias is fit.

While Matthias is resting his father is riding the horse.
