Online retailer Shadow Horse has launched a new saddle pad, especially designed for cross-country.
The Ogilvy Equestrian Cross-Country Profile Pad features a cut away design, which follows the line of your saddle and a unique V-Top shape.
“This not only reduces friction at the withers and along the top-line, but also ensures that the pad sits at the base of withers without pulling down,” said a spokesman for Shadow Horse.
The pad has a quilted stain-resistant poly cotton twill outer, while a special ‘quick-dry’ anti-bacterial/anti-fungal brushed poly lining sits against the horses’ skin and offers anti-slip properties.
A high performance hollow core fibre is sandwiched between, helping to wick away sweat and moisture away from the horse with rapid drying time.
The pads are available in small, medium and large in white, black and navy.
