Richard Davison appointed visiting fellow at Nottingham Trent

  • Olympic dressage rider and former H&H columnist Richard Davison has been appointed a visiting fellow at Nottingham Trent University.

The University hopes the role will enable Richard to bring his knowledge, skills and expertise to the university’s school of animal, rural and environmental sciences.

Richard, who is originally from Nottingham, will help the university to develop stronger links with the dressage industry as well as facilitating research with elite riders and horses.

Cassie White, a lecturer in equestrian psychology and sports science at Nottingham Trent University, said: “We are delighted Richard has accepted the appointment and feel that he has the expertise that will complement our curriculum delivery. His outstanding professional skills and associations will provide additional opportunities for collaboration and research within the equestrian world.”
