The Queen’s granddaughter, Lady Louise Windsor, is recovering after breaking her arm out hacking.
The accident happened while 10-year-old Lady Louise – daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Wessex – was riding at Windsor yesterday (11 April).
A Buckingham Palace spokesman told H&H that Lady Louise broke her left arm when she fell from her pony. She was not riding with The Queen at the time.
He said: “Lady Louise is being treated by doctors and is now resting at home.”
Lady Louise – who was a bridesmaid at her cousin, Prince William’s wedding last year – has inherited her grandmother’s love of riding.
She has had lessons at Windsor from an early age.
Windsor Castle is a short drive from the Wessex’s family home at Bagshot Park, Surrey.
