Jim Ratcliffe, former joint-master of the Grove and Rufford, died on 25 January. He was 70 and had been suffering from cancer.
Mr Ratcliffe – who ran a racehorse transport business for many years – was master of the Grove and Rufford from
1999 to 2006.
He leaves a widow, Jenny, and four children.
