British Eventing to increase entry fees next season

  • British Eventing (BE) has confirmed small entry fee increases next season.

Entry fees will rise by £1 at BE80, BE90 and BE100 level and by 2.5% for novice and above. Day tickets will be kept at 2011 prices.

BE said the increase was “well below inflation” and had been kept to a minimum.

But one BE member, Stella Bayliss, told H&H she did not think prices should have gone up across the board.

“I think they should have put up entry fees at the more popular events – the events at stately homes and those that get balloted.”
