Tim Stockdale’s former Olympic ride, Fresh Direct Corlato, has given birth to her first foal — a colt by Quainton Quirifino Z.
John and Sue Bosher’s 14-year-old mare, who was the highest-placed British horse at the 2008 Beijing Olympics with Tim, was retired last year due to a tendon injury sustained at Calgary in September 2009.
The colt was born on 11 July at 3.40am and both are doing well.
