NAF takes title sponsorship of Hartpury International Horse Trials

  • Supplement manufacturer NAF is the new title sponsor of the NAF Five Star Hartpury International Horse Trials (11 – 14 August).

A British Eventing (BE) horse trials has been run in the grounds of Hartpury College, Glos, for nine years and this year’s events boasts competition at CIC***.

Event director Janet Plant said: “We are privileged to have NAF as title sponsor of our most prestigious event.

“They have supported Hartpury College in many ways over the last two years, the team at NAF are a pleasure to work with, their products are outstanding and this partnership is a win win benefit to eventing.”

The event always attracts big names. In 2010 Mark Todd won the CCI**, with Piggy French and Andrew Nicholson each taking a CIC*** section, while Helen West emerged the winner of the strong novice field in the CCI*.

Ms Plant said preparation of the cross-country courses, designed by Eric Winter, is well underway.

“The turf in the park has been on a high maintenance all spring with a mulching, mowing regime which in current conditions will give the going every chance to be even better than last year,” she said.

Tracey Lloyd, sponsorship manager for NAF added: “We are delighted to be associated with such a prestigious International event as Hartpury.

“It draws riders from novice level all the way through to advanced, which is important to NAF as we are great believers in supporting equine sport at all levels.”
