Horseware Ireland is now an official supporter of the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA).
Although the equine retailer has supported the charity for some years, the new official role means the company willl supply horse and dog rugs for the animal welfare organisation.
Chief executive officer of the ISPCA Noel Griffin said: “Horseware Ireland has always been a great supporter of the ISPCA, but with the increasing cases of neglect and cruelty we are more in need of their help than ever before and it is therefore of huge benefit to formalise the arrangement.”
And Horseware Ireland’s Emer Bermingham added: “The organisation relies on animal lovers and as a company we are delighted to help them. We were touched by the heart-warming stories and we hope that our support will benefit all horses and dogs, especially ones who have suffered starvation and neglect.”
The ISPCA was established in 1949 and works across Ireland rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming neglected animals.
