Seasonal equine events will take place at Countrywide stores in the south west, west midlands and south Wales on 10-12 December.
Six Countrywide stores — Gloucester, Ledbury, Bromsgrove, Bridgend, Melksham and Honiton — will be holding three-day winter care weekends, with “rug bonanzas” — sales of leading brand rugs, all at clearance prices.
And Countrywide equine specialists will be on hand to ensure customers get their best buy.
“Finding the right rug to suit your horse is vital,” said Countrywide’s Sara Blackshaw.
“We’ll have lots of fantastic offers over the weekend. Come in, have a chat and we can help you select the perfect rug — and at a great saving.”
Countrywide, the UK’s leading rural retailer, also offers a rug cleaning service.
And the weekend also marks the launch of new bedding and feed ranges, with great introductory offers, including 33% off new feeds from Dengie and Dodson & Horrell and a three-for-two on 75litre bales of Countrywide’s new dust extracted, super soft wood chip bedding.
There will be other discounts in store too on tack and other equipment.
And Countrywide’s saddle advisor Claire Howson, a qualified equine therapist and saddle specialist, will be at Gloucester and Ledbury to offer free expert advice on how to select the best saddle for both horse and rider.
Appointments can also be made for Claire to visit you to advise on saddle fitting.
Chips4Tack, a microchip and engraving service, will visit Gloucester, Ledbury and Bromsgrove.
And customers can bring in saddles or get new purchases micro-chipped while they wait, making tack if stolen, easily identifiable by police.
