About the Injured Jockeys Fund
Founded in 1964 following the devastating accidents to Tim Brookshaw and Paddy Farrell in that year’s Grand National, the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF) has since spent over £16m in helping more than 1,000 jockeys whose injuries have forced some of them to give up riding.
Since 1964 the IJF has provided medical, financial and pastoral care, to jockeys, their spouses, or dependants, who have suffered through injury.
You can help support this worthwhile cause this Christmas by purchasing a silk tie for the special man in your life. These 100% woven silk ties offer classic style with a contemporary look and have been designed exclusively for the IJF. They make an ideal gift and are the perfect accessory to complete a stylish sporting look. Available in a choice of pink or blue, the ties cost £20 each.
