Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will continue to be sponsored by investment firm Fidelity in 2011.
Fidelity Investment Managers took over title sponsorship of the event this year.
“This was our first foray into sports sponsorship and we were overwhelmed by demand from our clients to attend the event — some of whom were newcomers to eventing,” said Rob Fisher from Fidelity.
“The feedback we have had on Blenheim 2010 from clients, competitors and the eventing fraternity in general has been fantastic.
“Our reasons for sponsoring Blenheim stemmed from our belief that Fidelity has much in common with eventing supporters. This has definitely proved to be true and we can see the sport is going from strength to strength in the run-up to 2012.”
Blenheim’s Mandy Hervieu added: “Everybody worked incredibly hard to put on the very best event we could and Fidelity’s investment has helped us to improve the facilities at the event across the board. We are really pleased that they had such a great first experience and have committed to supporting us once again.”
The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 2011 will run from 8-11 September 2011.
