Mould offers £15,000 for safe return of Cheltenham Gold Cup

  • A reward of £15,000 is being offered by racehorse owner Raymond Mould for the safe recovery of his stolen Cheltenham Gold Cup.

More than £150,000 worth of belongings, including the 1988 Cheltenham Gold Cup, won by Mr Mould’s horse Charter Party, were stolen from his Gloucestershire home on Wednesday (14 July).

“At least we are all alive and nobody was hurt — except my pocket. All the items were insured, but that’s not the point,” Mr Mould told local press.

“I could go out and get a replacement of the Gold Cup made tomorrow but it would not be the same.”
