Seven withdrawn before Badminton Horse Trials showjumping


  • Fifty horses go forward to the showjumping phase at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials today.

    Selina Elliott (Bodidly), Geoff Curran (Balladeer Alfred), Sian Wynne Morris (Just Appeal) and Sacha Pemble (I’ve Been Dun) withdrew overnight.

    Annabel Wigley withdrew Black Drum (pictured) from the holding box at the final horse inspection, as did Nicola Malcolm with Mcfly and Sara Burdess with Shiver St George.

    The lower 30 commence showjumping at 11am, and the top 20 at 2pm.
