Charlotte Adderley wins Emma Jonathan memorial trophy

  • Charlotte Adderley, 18, became the first recipient of the new Emma Jonathan memorial trophy earlier this week.

The trophy has been given by Emma’s parents, in memory of the event rider who was killed in a fall at Hartpury last year, and goes to the best-placed Stonar School pupil at the British Eventing (BE) horse trials at the school.

Emma was a Stonar School pupil and also did her first BE event there in 2002, making a winning debut when she took her pre-novice section on Rupert.

Charlotte won the trophy for finishing eighth in a BE100 class this week, finishing on her dressage score of 34.5 with Drop Of Gold II.
