Horse & Hound has joined up with Zara’s Planet to bring you a four-night break in Ireland including two days at Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show followed by two days riding in Country Wicklow (8-12 August) for £469 per person.
You will spend the first two nights at the St Helens Radisson SAS five-star hotel in Dublin. This gorgeous hotel is very well run and is set in lovely grounds. You can enjoy all the usual luxuries you would expect from a hotel of this standard, 
including the spa, a good restaurant and bar, and in the evening it’s lovely to sit out in the garden at the rear of the hotel and enjoy a bottle of crisp chilled white wine.
During the day, it’s off to Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show. Our advice is to get to Dublin on the Saturday morning as early as possible, dump your bags at the hotel and take full advantage of your day tickets. The show is jam packed with things to see and do. Saturdays highlights include the Show Hunter classes, followed by the Land Rover puissance and on Sunday you can enjoy the Working Hunter class and the Longines grand prix show jumping.
On Monday, it’s a short journey down to the country estate house of Bel Air in Country Wicklow, where you can expect true Irish hospitality. Here you can escape for a couple of hours each day, riding out on good quality Irish horses. You 
can choose whether to enjoy some fast cross-country riding, a relaxing hack or lessons, but the minimum riding standard is that you must be able to canter confidently in open ground. Bel Air’s horses are well schooled and not suitable for beginners.
This holiday package includes 4 nights B&B, with one dinner at Bel Air Country House; 2 full day tickets to Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show on Saturday & Sunday, including grandstand seats; 2 days of riding, 2hrs per day at Bel Air. The package does not include flights, transfers and tips.
