Londoners can learn to ride at a reduced rate this Easter.
A special 10 per cent discount on lessons at selected riding schools in the capital over the Easter holidays has been arranged by Hoof, the London 2012 Olympic legacy project.
The aim is to make horse riding in London more affordable and accessible for local residents.
Discounted lessons are available for both adults and children —from Friday 3 April to Monday 21 April.
Six riding centres are taking part in the offer — Bucks Meadow Riding School (PC) in Hertfordshire, Trent Park Equestrian Centre, N14, Aldersbrook Riding School & Livery Stables, E12, Kingston Riding Centre, Surrey, Hyde Park Riding School, W2 and Woodreddon Equestrian Centre, Epping Forest.
Hoof — ride in London, aims to provide more opportunites for londers to ride and uses the inspiration of London 2012 to promote riding and equestrian sports.
It also aims to support the existing riding community while raising funds and challenging the perceptions of riding being an expensive, elitist sport.
