British Young Horse Championships gets thumbs up

  • THE British Young Horse Championships, at Addington Manor from 5-8 August, have been hailed a success by the BSJA.

Classes for four-, five-, six- and seven-year-old horses took place and a prize-fund was shared between all horse and rider combinations that consistently jumped fault-free rounds.

The show was a viewing venue for the British Equestrian Federation Equine Pathway, selecting horses with potential for the 2010 World Championships.

It also served as a selection for the International Equestrian Federations’s Breeding Championships for young horses to be held at Zangersheide in Belgium next month.
