Vet Alan Walker returns to work after suspension

  • VET Alan Walker, who was struck off by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) in February 2007, returned to work last month, following a successful campaign by around 300 supporters.

Dr Walker, of Hook Norton Veterinary Surgeons and chairman of the Association of Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons, was taken off the RCVS register for backdating vaccination certificates.

But he appealed to the Privy Council and was instead suspended for six months (news, 29 November).
