Pippa Funnell joins World Horse Welfare as a trustee

  • Rolex Grand Slam winning event rider Pippa Funnell has been appointed as a trustee of World Horse Welfare, formerly the International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH).

Pippa joins a team of 11 charity trustees headed by chairman Christopher Hall.

She said: “I’ve been a supporter of the ILPH, now World Horse Welfare, for many years and was delighted when asked if I would consider being a trustee.

“World Horse Welfare does more for horses than any other charity both in the UK and in the developing world. It also campaigns to have a direct impact on horse welfare through changing policy, practice and attitudes.

“I look forward to having a more direct involvement with World Horse Welfare and will do whatever I can to benefit the work of this excellent charity.”
