Michael Eilberg and Marakov had a double success at Addington (21-23 February), taking the top spot in the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Open and British Horse Feeds Advanced Medium Open.
Fellow double winners Lauren Dance and Roli (pictured) took the Baileys Novice Freestyle Section A. Lauren also headed the Blue Chip Novice Restricted Section A.
In section B of the Baileys Novice Freestyle, Alison Berman partnered Duchess to a whopping 80.74%, the highest score of the winter regionals series so far.
Current national novice open champions, Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro, took the Imenex Equine Elementary Open, while Ken Alexander-Jones and Moorhouse Cavalier were Biotal Equine Gold Medium Restricted winners.
Peter Storr rode a flowing test to lead the Nupafeed Advanced Medium Freestyle on Hermione Black’s Cocofino.
Blue Chip Novice Open Section A was won by Francesca Walker and Real Ruby, while section B went to Lucy Farrer and Zebedee VI.
A surprised Bonnie Fishburn took top spot in the Elevator Prelim Section A with her Ferro-gelding San Francisco. Section B of the prelim went to Fiona Padfield and Catherston Limbo Dancer.
Beccy Phillips led the Blue Chip Novice Restricted Section B with Vamiro.
NAF Prix St Georges Freestyle winner Pippa Fisher partnered Jane Brewin’s Nadonna to the sounds of Swan Lake and the Onedin Line, while John Bowen and Uniek took the Equissage Elementary Freestyle riding to Latin American music by Kausary.
Natasha Leak, 14, and her 13.2hh Welsh Section C Synod Magnus rode a test highlighting the pony’s extensions to lead the Kieffer Medium Freestyle, while the Imenex Equine Elementary Restricted went to Sara Longworth and Wychwood Zennor Tor.
Helen Carpenter won the British Horse Feeds Advanced Medium Restricted with Geneva.
