Hundreds flock to Oliver Townend Eventers’ Challenge final

  • Over 300 competitors came from Scotland, Brighton, Wales and Norfolk to take part in the first Oliver Townend Eventers’ Challenge National Championship (23-24 November) at Arena UK in Grantham. Classes ran over 18 up-to-height jumps, some of which were solid and some knock down. In the under 20’s 3ft3in class there was only one clear round which came from Miranda Filmer. Oliver Townend (pictured) was in the audience, offering support to fellow riders and presenting prizes. The winners of each class will each receive a day of training with Oliver early next year.
