A Redwings Horse Sanctuary visitor centre in Warwickshire has been hailed as a quality visitor attraction.
The centre, at Oxhill, follows in the success of its fellow attraction at Caldecott, Norfolk, which was granted the visitor attraction quality assured status in 2005 by Visit Britain’s VAQAS (Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service).
Visitors to the Oxhill centre can learn more about what Redwings does and meet some of the 60 equine residents.
With more than 1,100 equines in its care overall, Redwings Horse Sanctuary is the largest horse charity in the UK, working to prevent abuse through rescue and rehabilitation, specialist sanctuary care and prevention through education.
The Oxhill centre is open to the general public all year from 10am-5pm, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Admission is free.
