Piggy French’s (pictured) returned to Weston Park to repeat her previous two wins in the Rookery Park Stud CCI**. This time she won on Judy Bradwell’s Lemington Lets Dance.
Pippa Funnell took second spot on Blue Horizon. Oliver Townend,filled third with Throstle Nest Saddlery’s Irish-bred gelding Golden Hue.
JRN championships
Sienna Myson-Davies cried tears of joy after winning the KBIS junior regional novice (JRN) championship winner on Tambourine.
Runner-up Emily Parker also took home the Walnut Trophy for the highest combination at this event and the Pony Club Championships, where she also rode Reefers into second place.
Evie Paterson’s clear show jumping round with Direct Opposition moved her up to third after Tom How rolled a pole on Cadenza Guardian Angel, dropping to fourth.
Under-21 championship
In the Jump Saving Fund Under-21 Championship Emily Llewellyn and Charlotte Agnew shared the lead after dressage. Fast accurate cross-country rounds meant they were seperated only by time going into the show jumping.
Charlotte and Out Of Africa Two had a fence down and two time penalties to finish second as Emily and Society Spice picked up just two time-penalties to secure the win. Lauren Shannon finished third.
CCI*
Libby Soley crowned her year with a win in the Rookery Park Stud CCI* with the remarkable 14.2hh Noble Springbok.
Sarah Strettontook second place on Lazy Acres Firestorm. Pippa Funnell was third on Special Constable, who finished on his dressage score.
