Sheepgate Premier League dressage


  • A high-scoring hat-trick concluded a winning weekend for Carol Parsons’s Giddy at Sheepgate Equestrian’s Premier League, Lincolnshire. The partnership won two grands prix and the intermediaire II. Daryl Thickitt’s Donnez Moi was runner-up in both grands prix.

    Simone Ward and Mikado VI won the intermediaire I and prix st george freestyle. The second intermediaire I winner was Rhett Bird riding Renegade RB. Alexandra Kipping, 19, won the young rider individual test with Marksquerade.

    Both prix st georges were won on 70%, the first by Gemma Green and Showtime and the second by Becky Moody’s High Fashion. Hot on their heels was judge and trainer Paul Fielder with Noble Karat.

    Rhett and Jilly Bird’s 17hh Sulster won the international six-year-old young horse class. Gemma Green and her Oldenburg stallion Legamento took the five-year-old section. Jo Gummer’s Hattrick won the national five-year-old class and was also runner-up in the international class.
