Guy Williams produced a convincing win with Quito De Luz Z in the Winter A and B Grand Prix at Rowallan Activity Centre, reports Mark McGowan. Keith Shore and Nintendo II finished a worthy second, ahead of Guy in third with Quidam.
Georgie Strutton won the British Equestrian Federation Young Riders class on Ross Towner ahead of Anthony Condon on Killy Jones. Scott Brash took third place on Senette.
Top Limit gave Kathleen McArthur her Hickstead ticket in the winter B and C, alongside Anthony Condon on his boss Billy Twomey’s Je T’Aime Flamenco. Scottish young rider Laura Hutt won the winter grade C qualifier on Tangana V. Coral Mowbray took the second ticket on Corinthos.
Jonathan Dixon booked his trip to Solihull courtesy of a one-two in the Blue Chip Dynamic B and C qualifier with Zegreanne Z and Rolympus S. James Billington was third on Michael Whitaker’s Insultech IZ Zusi Kiu. He also won the £1,000 1.40m open prize on Lady Des Hayettes.
