Active Dynamo is a dressage star


  • Oldencraig

    Sacha Hamilton and Active Dynamo won both the medium classes at Oldencraig, reports Celia Cadwallader. Alice Gough Wilson, 19, won the advanced medium on Rambo, while Jenny Belloy won the elementary qualifier on her husband’s 17hh Dutch-bred Titus II. Coral Ingham won the elementary 44 with her five-year-old Shearwater and Rhinegold finalist, Korenbloem Feintasia.

    Northern Dressage Group

    Eventer Ruth Edge won both the medium qualifier and elementary freestyle with six-year-old Paper Tiger at the Northern Dressage Group’s show at Osbaldeston, reports Jo Prestwich. Although beaten in the medium by Paper Tiger, Tracy Tomlinson went on to win both the medium and advanced freestyle to music qualifiers with Puccini, ahead of Laura Fry, who finished second and third in the latter. Eileen Lester’s Welsh Cob Marchell Mab Y Dewin won the novice freestyle on 73.94%.

    Summerhouse

    Robbie Carpenter triumphed in the advanced medium 86 at Summerhouse, Glos, with 71.82% on board Louise Hartnett’s promising 16hh mare Hestia, reports Andrea Oakes. Matt Burnett dominated the novices with MFS Raubritter, while Deborah Cooper delivered a win in the elementary 43 on Taison. Finishing Touch III won both the restricted section and whole class in prelim 16 with owner/rider Mia Woodford.
