Try something new at Writtle College’s free taster day [Promotion]


  • Writtle CollegeWrittle College in Essex, is running a ‘Have a Go’ event on Saturday, 26 April from 10.30am-2pm. This free event is perfect for anyone who is looking for either their next step after school or a career change.

    You will get the chance to find out about their range of courses including equine, animal care and agriculture, including tours of the equine campus, animal care centre and farm.

    Writtle campusVisitors will also get the opportunity to try out a range of taster workshops designed to introduce you to a new skill! Bite-size taster sessions are available in the following subject areas:

    • Introduction to Animal Studies
    • Introduction to Countryside Skills
    • Introduction to Floristry
    • Introduction to Horticulture
    • Introduction to Sport

    Writtle taster dayWorkshops are open to all ages and abilities.

    Sessions will be running at the following times and you must pre-book to be guaranteed a place on your chosen session:

    • Session 1 – 10.30am to 11.30am
    • Session 2 – 11.30am to 12.30pm
    • Session 3 – 1.00pm to 2.00pm
