Finsceal Beo wins 1,000 Guineas

  • Finsceal Beo blew away her rivals in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket today. The filly produced a record-breaking Guineas time, passing the post in just 1m 34.94, just 0.4secs outside the course record.

Trained by Jim Bolger, who also trains top colt Teofilo (who missed the 2,000 Guineas due to a set back), Finscael Beo proved too good for her 21 opponents, winning by two and a half lengths. Arch Swing finished second ahead of Simply Perfect in third and Treat fourth.
