The final issue of Eventing, H&H’s sister title, will be published this month.
The June issue of the magazine will go on sale on 22 May and will include details of all the options available for existing Eventing subscribers.
As Time Inc. UK ceases publication of Eventing, H&H will now produce more eventing content for fans to enjoy.
“The equestrian sector is an important market for Time Inc. UK and this move provides us with a clear strategic focus to drive the growth of our equestrian portfolio through the Horse & Hound brand,” said publishing director Oswin Grady.
“H&H now has its biggest ever reach and will continue to create compelling content for eventing competitors and fans both in the magazine and online.
“At the same time, we are developing a range of new digital, retail, e-commerce, learning and event initiatives to appeal to the UK’s equestrian enthusiasts and you can expect more news on these soon.”
H&H will continue to produce content for eventing competitors and fans through additional pages in the magazine dedicated to the sport, as well as added online content, ensuring readers who previously enjoyed Eventing magazine do not miss out.
The website — www.horseandhound.co.uk — will be also be carrying more online eventing news, features and training than ever before.
Eventing magazine’s social media presence will become Horse & Hound’s eventing specific social media, and will be given the same attention as ever, bringing up-to-the minute coverage from events for those wedded to this sport.
Content Director Sarah Jenkins said: “Eventing magazine has been much loved by its subscribers and those who have worked on the title for many years. I cannot thank both enough — readers for remaining loyal to the brand and the team for being so dedicated to producing such a fantastic product.”
