New equine dentistry degree course


  • A new equine dentistry foundation degree course is being run at Plumpton College, East Sussex.

    The four-year part-time course allows students to spend two years working in the equine industry, alongside a registered dental technician.

    The course has modules in equine cranial anatomy and physiology, and students will research an area within equine dentistry for the final project.

    Students will finish with the skills needed to take the professional British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT) qualification.

    Tuition fees are £3,450 per annum.
