Olympia to celebrate 100th anniversary

  • Olympia, the London International Horse Show, is celebrating it’s centenary in 2007 and will be held over six days rather than seven, due to it’s close proximity to Christmas.

The show will finish a day earlier, running from 17-22 December, and the first two days will feature jumping as well as dressage.

Show director Simon Brooks-Ward explained that occasionally the dates get too close to Christmas, and this change will enable contractors and foreign competitors to get home in time.

“The move will keep the festive spirit at the heart of the show, and cause minimum disruption to our competitors and visitors,” he said.
